Hood, the dairy brand of Lynnfield, Mass.-based HP Hood LLC, said it teamed up with the well-known Boston based brand Wahlburgers to celebrate National Ice Cream Month and Ice Cream Sandwich Day this summer.
The acquisition will expand the Canadian company’s branded position in the U.K. and abroad.

Saputo Inc. said it entered into an agreement to acquire the activities of Wensleydale Dairy Products Ltd. The business, which will join Saputo Inc.’s Dairy Division (U.K.) under its Europe Sector, operates two facilities located in North Yorkshire, England, and employs approximately 210 people.
The cooperative said it assembled a team of experts in the field of sustainability across numerous priority areas: from environmental stewardship to employee welfare to animal husbandry and beyond.
