Fair Oaks Farms is operated by members of the Select Milk Producers dairy cooperative. Through tours and interactive exhibits, the farm educates visitors about farming practices. The farm “campus” includes The Dairy Adventure, The Pig Adventure and The Crop Adventure.

Fair Oaks Farms on Interstate 65 in northwest Indiana, welcomes half-a-million visitors a year.
Visitors to the farm can see educational exhibits, a restaurant, a birthing barn and a milking parlor.
The Dairy Adventure has interactive exhibits, a museum and a movie theater.
In the birthing barn, visitors can watch a cow give birth.
Feed components are carefully measured and loaded into a hopper.
In the barn, cows have access to food all day long. They rest on sand beds.
Cows walk from their barn to the milking parlor.
Cows are milked on a carousel. The process takes about 8 minutes.
Methane from manure is converted to clean-burning compressed natural gas. All of the trucks on the farm are powered by CNG.
