Norwich, N.Y.-based Chobani is adding new product innovations to its line in 2013. Available nationally in January, the new Chobani Bites, a blend of Greek nonfat and low-fat yogurt, comes in four flavors:
Each 3.5-ounce cup contains 8 grams of protein and has a suggested retail price of $2.99 per 4-pack.
Also hitting the shelves in the New Year are two new flavors for the regular 6-ounce Chobani yogurts. The flavors — pear and banana — were inspired by Chobani fans that made numerous requests, according to the company.
The pear flavor is made with nonfat yogurt with chunks of pear, and the banana is made with low-fat yogurt and pieces of ripe banana. The cups retail for $1.29 and will be available nationally in January.
